Scandir contributes to this development by offering training and intensive educational courses for both governmental and private sectors. We are deeply involved in science and technology in order to bring increasing amounts of waste into everyday use.

An example would be when, several years ago, one of our scientists, was involved in creating a method to produce ethanol from denim. In Sweden alone, over 15 million pairs of jeans are sold per year, thus the ability to produce ethanol or biogas from denim is a highly sustainable and proven concept. And this is just one country.

As a public service, our education is focused on providing information and training regarding trends in sustainable concepts and technology. Our informative programs cover sustainability from waste-management programs to turnkey-solutions.
